Health surveillance is a legal obligation for employers if the employees are exposed to certain hazards within workplace. Routine health checks are arranged periodically to detect early signs of work-related ill health. Examples include vibration exposure from use of vibrating hand tools, noise exposure from loud machinery at workor dust or fume exposure in production area of factory.
